Mr. Gate of Florida is a locally owned and operated company located in Panama City, Florida.
It is owned and operated by Joshua Glover who has been involved in the fence and gate industry since he was 8 years old. Joshua's father and stepfather have both been in the fencing industry for over 30 years so Josh naturally learned extensively from them through hands on training. In addition to his experience gained through his family, Josh is also an active member of the American Fence Association. He has served on several committees and is the Chair of the "Operations Manager Committee" which put together the OMS School and OMS Certification through ACI. Josh travels the country working with other fence contractors to help them improve their business and the industry. In 2022, Josh was awarded the Ambassador Award for his service as a volunteer to the industry.
After working for more than 10 years in the underground coal mines of western Kentucky, Joshua and his wife Lauren moved to Panama City with their 4 children in 2019. Shortly after, Mr. Fence of Florida was born. The company was started and built around the idea that they were building a customer service company, that also installs fences. For the first year, they ran the office out of their kitchen and dining room as they poured their hearts and souls in to building what they believed would be a fence company second to none.
2 years after the successful launch of Mr. Fence of Florida, he saw a need for a reputable Automated Gate and Access Control Company in the area that also holds customer service at its core. As a result, Mr. Gate was born. The synergy between both Mr. Fence and its specialized division for Automated Gates and Access Control was apparent. Mr. Fence and Mr. Gate have become the "one stop shop" for all things related to perimeter security.
Quality control and customer satisfaction are at the very core of the organization and extend outward. Mr. Gate uses no sub-contractors, all of the team members are full time hourly or salary individuals that go through continuing extensive training in order to stay on the cutting edge of installation techniques and provide the highest value possible to their customers. As President of Mr. Fence of Florida and Mr. Gate I am blessed to lead such a talented team of individuals. Each of them bring different strengths to our team and have one united primary focus -- Customer Satisfaction. At the core of our organization, we define ourselves as a customer service company that also installs fences and gates. This permeates through the entire company as one of our core values.
After working in the underground coal mines of Western Kentucky for 10 years, I entered the fence industry following in the footsteps of my father and step-father who both worked in the Industry for over 30 years. As an active member and volunteer in multiple trade organizations, I am currently the only person in the country that holds every certification available for fence and automated gate installation. As a husband and father of 4 I enjoy relaxing with my family, fishing in the Gulf, land management and private aviation.

3 years into my journey with Mr. Fence of Florida my title and job responsibilities have changed a handful of times, but I have made sure that each task that has been thrown my way or that has landed into my hands has been completed and knocked out of the park. I currently run all our Social Media platforms; and I help when needed with all other office responsibilities. I make sure that we have updated photos of every job, team member, and anything else we have going on around here.
When I am not updating statuses, responding to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter messages, making our team members be TikTok creators, or pinning away on our Pinterest page, I enjoy being the best dog mom and trying my best to keep my plants alive. I have been married to my husband for 10 years and together for 18 and he hasn't been poisoned yet so that's good. The best part about being in the position that I am in is interacting with and getting to know each one of our Team members here at Mr. Fence of Florida.

Born and Raised Local to Panama City area. I've lived as far as Hwy 79 too Hwy 231 and everywhere in between. As the Mr. Fence Receptionist I will schedule our Representatives in a timely and orderly fashion to assist with your Fence and Gate Needs. I look forward to aiding or directing your calls, text, and questions. If I'm not on the phone with you I spend my office time typing and filing away. During my Free time you can find me around town in local hot spots, playing pool or spending time with my pets.

To get started on your gate project with Mr. Gate of Florida, reach out to our team to schedule a quote appointment. During your appointment, you will discuss your project with our sales consultant, who will build you a personalized quote. Once you review the quote and decide you're ready to move forward, you can e-sign your documents and pay the 50% deposit.
On our end, we will order any materials (if needed) and add your installation date to our calendar. The day before installation, our team will call and confirm your appointment. Our professional crew will install your gate, and the rest of your balance will be due. Working with Mr. Gate of Florida is simple!
